IN THIS LESSON
Lender Prequalification helps you shop with confidence.
Purchasing a home is a major financial move. Getting pre-qualified through a lender helps you understand your buying power. Your lender will work with you to determine your income and provide key insights on your monthly payments and interest rates. During this time they will also help you explore various loan options and the benefits to each loan type.
In addition to determining your mortgage eligibility, they will provide you with a pre-qualification letter. This letter is often submitted along with an offer to help assure a seller of your ability to afford the home they are selling. Our dedicated team will work with you and your lender to tailor the letter to the offer and help provide you with the best advantage possible.
If you don’t know where to start we have compiled a list of local lenders in our area who are ready to work with you. See the Additional Resources section for more information. We do not receive any referral bonuses from any recommended lenders, and you are free to choose who suits you best.
